I have the same knife and got it at the Fall 08 Knob Creek show ... they were sold as a military over run ... basically an LE blank with no number and black linen grips ...
I smoothed my grips for comfort and gave the edge some work ... I got it sharp enough to try some competition cutting ... geat knife ! They are pretty rare too!
With the flat grind and great balance they make an excellent "user" :thumbup:
