TAN/SAGE SARSquatch: Are the scales stnd. or mag.? How thick is the spine of this particular model? Efficient, capable CHOPPER? And, most importantly..., still available??? "I'LL TAKE IT" pending your responses. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!!!

Hey Wicked Sharp, I cannot get to the knife until tomorrow evening, but I will get back to you with some precise caliper readings as far as thickness on this exact knife. I believe the SARsquatches only came with magnum scales, and they are good choppers IMO for a knife with a 7" blade. I'm keeping one of them in black linen/black crinkle for camping duties myself. The SARsquatch is the last knife available in this thread.

Wicked Sharp, it appears to vary slightly between .193" and .194" down the spine. That's a little more than 3/16" (.188"). As you can see, the grips have the shape of magnums. They are quite comfortable in hand to me.
