Well, it finally happened - I got read the Riot Act over the number of knives in the house now that we have a baby daughter - and I will be selling off much of my collection in stages. Here are some Bussekin - these are all things I didn't think I'd be letting go.
Pictures aren't great, but these are all in perfectly new condition (apart from the BT6) - if you're seeing marks on the blade, that's just protectant.
Prices are net to me (your choice of payment - doesn't have to be PP - but you cover any fees involved) and include shipping in the US (from DC).
SAR6 - black paper micarta handles, black Mashed Cat sheath - $550. Beautifully full convex ground satin INFI. SOLD
Ratmandeux LE #461 - black paper micarta handles, OD green Al Welke sheath - $265. Beautifully full convex ground satin SR101, and a classic design. SOLD
Satin, long clip HOGB8 - $460. I feel this will become an iconic Busse with the huge blade thickness and the resiprene C handle. But, with the clip point, it's still very usable and versatile. Balances right at the choil, will cut and chop, pointy and thick enough to stab and pry.
1311 - $265.
California Legal Argonne Attack - black & red G10 handle, sage blade - $490. Built as a fighter, but I actually consider this a pretty versatile 10" blade that could easily be turned to field use. The finger groves fit larger hands better, but they could always be modified to make a more neutral handle with a bit of work. SOLD
Kill Devil Sniper Hawk - sage coating, blade Al Welke kydex sheath - $265. I wrapped the handle with paracord and rubber tubing, leaving a top lanyard. I think I did a pretty good job, so will leave it on, but can of course remove, if the buyer doesn't want it.
Stripped BT6 with tequila G10 handle and homemade (by former owner) kydex sheath - $360. Pretty good strip job, sterile, some chatter marks visible, finish and sheath are functional but not pretty, edge is in great shape - very slicey for a big knife.
