I get a call from a Mr Foundry the other day. Seems he is the Foundry in the "American Forge and Foundry" company. Who would have thought that two guys named forge and foundry would get together to make things out of metal. The company make automobile jacks for anyone and everyone that doesn't know this. So anyway, he says "hey buddy, do you need a lift?" Since I knew that he sold automotive equipment, I thought I was going to get a good deal. So I say,"Yeah, sure, I could use a lift"....His reply..."then stick a jack up your ass"
Well, this is not what I would expect from a company owner, so I declined the jack up my ass offer and will not buy any of their products in the future. Also, for anyone wondering about this..don't stick a Busse up you ass either! Not one of any width Rectum? Hell, it damn near killed him

JUST ORDERED MY SJ LAST WEEK AND HAD GREAT SERVICE. I CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT GETTING THE LE IN 3/16 AND A COUPLE OF OTHER QUESTIONS. KASSI DID NOT HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS AND TOLD ME TO HOLD ON. LESS THAN A MINUTE LATER WHO SHOULD MAKE AN APPEARANCE ON THE PHONE?? JERRY. THE QUESTIONS WERE ALL ANSWERED(EVEN A FEW EXTRAS) AND I NOW HAVE A SJLE ON THE WAY. THERE IS ONLY 1/16 DIFFERENCE ANYWAY AND AFTER GRINDING ON A 1/4 BAR THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME METAL REMOVED.......
IF THERE IS THAT MUCH CONCERN THEN A STANDARD QUESTION HAS ALWAYS BEEN (IS THAT THE FINISHED THICKNESS OR THE SIZE THE BAR STARTED AT??)

EDITED TO ADD: IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS I HAVE ALWAYS HAD BETTER LUCK(ESPECIALLY DEALING WITH SUCH HIGH CALIBER FOLKS) CALLING AND WORKING OUT THE PROBLEM IN A MORE PRIVATE MANNER. AN OUNCE OF SUGAR GOES A LOT FURTHER THAN A POUND OF SALT 99% OF THE TIME.

Hey this is like Groundhog Day! I posted the same just before I ordered my SJCG. I'm sure that Jerry will update the site in about "two weeks" or after Blade (maybe). But I agree with the original sentiment. Keep the site up-to-date! But hey, maybe I'll be surprised when a 0.25" SJCG shows up at my door in "two weeks"
