Satin Jack TAC - Black finish, is it crinkle?

The Satin Jack TAC on the company store says - "Black finish". Is that crinkle coat or smooth? Sorry Im a newb. I may not know the obvious.

It should be crinkle. Smooth coating was dropped a while ago. I'm sure someone will be along in a moment with the date, time, and a picture of the last knife smooth coated.

it's crinkle finish..

the "smooth" finishes like on the earlier Busse's have been discontinued.

depending on the color of the newer crinkle finish, some are "smoother" in texture than the other,,I think the new Black crinkle is the most textured of the other colors avalible.

the gray and olive are smooth, very durible and slick, almost like there's graphite in the coating :thumbup: tan and black are heavy crinkle
