This is an original straight-handled Battle Mistress and was a user with no damage or signs of abuse which I had sent in to Garth for a satin finish. He did a great jobbetter than new IMHO. He removed the handles to apply a full-satin treatment and then re-installed them. Plus, this one had a good asymmetrical edge which he restored to a razor, which makes this knife very unique as the original satin SHBMs all had V or standard convex edges AFAIK. Comes with the original Busse kydex sheath with drop-leg webbing and hardwarethe highest in-demand sheath Busse offered. Sheath is in excellent condition as wellno sign of damage and no prominent scuffs that I can see. This is a well-cared-for knife and has not been used or re-inserted into the sheath since Garth did the work.
