**ATTENTION**

I dropped 1Tracker's name as having these without realizing that he used (quoted) dobywon's pic in his post further up this thread. My bad! :o

1Tracker... I'm sorry to have probably caused your PM box to fill with offers... :o:o

...Just forward them all to dobywon!! :foot: :D:D ;)

LOL, I figured that I'd buy me some time to think about you trying to part me from my INFI, while you are busy fighting off the HOGs who want to part you from your INFI!!! :p ;);) :D "It's the circle of life, Simba!" :foot::D

i will say it is probably the best nmfbm, but i don't like that model anyways, so it's not saying much. the rounded spine significantly decreases the life span of batoning implements. i simply don't like the way it looks, either.

not worth the money in my opinion.

I see it the other way around...

The 90 degree edge of the spine does more damage to the baton...
as reality says you rarely if ever hit directly parallel on the spine.

I beleive I recall reading something where Jerry said a rounded spine is stronger than a flat.
Something about how an impact is more evenly distributed on a rounded spine.

I have to agree. Dave Beck, the maker of the original tracker WSK used in the movie "The Hunted", originally had the knife with a flat spine, then later (after trial and error) started rounding the spine for this very reason.

Besides... Most likely, the 'batonning implement' is a handy tree branch/bough, so if that's the case, ya chuck it on the fire, and pick up another to continue on... :D;) Personally, I love the rounded spines.

Now I see how you got your name :)

No problem Jaxx; I just figured you were sending me 'da bizness' for all those GW questions I drilled you with last year:foot: Besides, it was fun trying to figure out why everyone was pming me for a knife I had no clue about:confused::D I just kept referring them to my FBM up on the exchange, so it was good for bizness, 'cept no takers yet.

Hope to get out your way this year, was in Maple Shade on bizness last week, should'a shouted you up!

oh, you mean this?

it's on my property somewhere... i think. it's been a few weeks since i last saw her, to be honest. i took one look at the ugly bastard and chucked her in a brush pile somewhere... after i chopped down this tree, of course.

maybe it ended up in a neighbor's yard... i hope they find it more appealing than i did.
