Satin/Snake SJ

Actually, it'll OVERgo at this point. Jaxx should just snipe-bid at $700 and blow everyone out.

So much for me considering getting this. Not a fan of the original Satin Jack, but in Satin??? It was hard NOT to bid. Now it's easy. Enjoy the blade, Jaxx.

By the way U/J - SHUTCHOMOUF! LOL

We're all going to have to beat buckman#10 on this one.

For everyone here who is anxious to spend their money, I will be more than happy to hang on to your money if you don't win the auction, just so you all don't have that burden. :p Heck, if nothing else, it may need to be donated to the auction winner to pay bills for the next month at the rate it's going (less my customary handling fee, of course!). :p:D

Ok, then..... Someone must really want this blade.

Maybe I should put down some morning shots of Absinthe and reconsider how much I really want to spend on this one..:D

That knife is easily worth $650-$700. Real nice find, I wish I had the scratch.

I was thinking $800 or $850.

You guys are smoking crack! Not even an old school satin finished SJ is worth the prices you're throwing out. Not yet anyway, maybe 5 years from now. A prototype ZT SJ was only recently (last 12 months as I recall) sold for $700. This one is no where near as rare.

Progunner, on the topic of value
What do you think a ZTSJ would be worth then ??
I thought that was one of the most valuable SJ's other than the LE

I would have bid in the $400-$500 range near auction end, but no more. But that's because I already have some. To someone that does not have one and really wants one, who's to say what it's worth?(only the person or persons buying it) :D

I sold a ZT SJ not long ago in the $500 range.

but if the craze hits for old school SJ's again, I might have to dig some out!

I said proto ZT SJ and at $700, I would say that was fair. $500-600 for a standard ZT SJ is not bad either. There are relatively few of them. The thing about them is that they are stuck in the hands of collectors who hold on to them tightly as it seems now, so if one pops up it may go higher. If they were passed around regularly, then not so much. This one on ebay, I would give no more than $500-550 for and, as Guyon said, I would have held out that bid until the very end of the auction. That is the beauty of ebay for the seller though, over exuberant bidding wars. :D I say good for the seller, I wish it where my knife up for sale, I'd be grinning ear to ear by now. :D:thumbup:

Hey Yager, what are you holding? :D
