Get your favorite beverage, put your feet up and look at some knives.
Or post a few here if you like?

These are a few I've made and sold recently.
All slip jpints of course.

I see that Bladeforums broke a new record today folks on line.
Way to go.

Have a great weekend. Happy Fathers Day dad.

Great looking knives T.A.! :D If you don't mind me asking, what's the handle material of that one on the bottom left?

I've done a couple like that, it is mammoth ivory.
And they both turned out really nice.
Thanks!

Thanks, I was wondering about it. From the way the grain runs, it looked almost like bamboo, that's why I was curious.

Very nice knives. Sent you a note a moment ago asking what the material was on the middle left knife. Beautiful work on all of them.
thanks for the posting

The darker one middle left, that would be Iron Wood Burl.

Thanks for the great comment.

The Barlow and the one with bone scales ( upper right) are really nice !

(far from saying the others are not nice , but I really like 'using' knives)

Hey Todd,

You got the lingo down here perfectly. That makes you 'folksy folk' too..:D

The Bose's are great folks. I'm glad you got a chance to meet Tony in person at the Blade show this year. I am looking forward to that pleasure my self at next years show. I'll bet you were able to pick up a trick or two from the 'ole master?!. The quality in your knives are incredible and are getting better as time moves on and hoping to lay my mitts on another one, one of these days in the not to distant future. I have already started saving $$$ to put away for Blade '08. And I am looking forward to meeting you as well!.

BTW, Its great to see you here in the Traditional forum. I wish you would come around more often.. So, in your honor, here are few from a while back, a little blast from the past. A chubby little Barlow in ATS-34 dressed in sweet snakewood scales.

sunnyd,
I sure enjoy reading your post over here, and a lot of others too.
I will try to stop in and post more often, spend to much time makin knives I guess? :D

This last Blade Show was just a wurl wind, I was there just one day.
Had taken my 18 year old daughter with me, we had fun picking out some handle material together. And talk'n to Mr. Bose, that made my show.
I had hoped to meet some forum folks, like Gus, Blues,Gigone, Holger, and any other knife nuts like your self there.
But my schedule was way off. Next year I hope I can get in as a table holder?
I'm trying. Only time will tell?

Thanks for posting the old knives, I always enjoy seeing them.

All the best.

Todd

We'll get it done next time, Todd. I didn't know you were gonna be there or we'd have looked out for you.

You ever road the SUPER MAN there at six flags??

So if I would have ran in to you guy's, it would of been hey and good by! and that wouldn't cut it. right? :grumpy:

Todd,

I gave that Mammoth ivory knife to my dad today. (The bottom one in the picture.)

He was thrilled and so was I.
He unwrapped it saw the pouch and said "hey this is handmade" ;). Did not take him long to figure out what was inside was handmade too.

I am sorry we did not hook up at Blade. We are going to have to make better plans next year.

:D Haven't heard that one before. Excellent. I think from the context I have a pretty good idea what it means. I can't wait to work it into a conversation.
