Knife OAL; 9 inches
Blade; ATS34 steel 1/8th inch thick chisel ground with edge on both sides. Blade hand sanded to 600 with nice smooth satin finish.
Handle; Musk Ox with brass mosaic pins. Black acrylic spacers and file work on spine.

This knife is for sure one of a kind. I have never seen a Karambit style knife built in a "S" curve so I thought I would do something different so if you like Karambits here is something away from the run of the mill. Also the Musk OX I got from a retired knife maker who said he bought it in the early 1960"s so it has been well cured and very dry.

oh, that is a sweet sweet blade.
i thought it was nice, then i saw the in-hand pics, and i'm in love.

wish i had the funds, someone is getting a keeper.
 
Wow Ray , very interesting and the musk OX is beautiful , looks like something Gil Hibbens would be making . Nice job .

I originally made this for the surgeons that are going to chop on me Dec 2 but when they saw the knife it scared them to death:D Thanks guys for all the comments.Much appreciated !
 
I saw that and went "cool. that's nice. whatever." then I got to the In hand pics and my jaw went down, then up, then down, then up. that is amazing and just wicked looking.
