Saturday Night Specials - 4/23 - Four wood-handled beauties

I was about to mail out my payment but i have one final question to y'all
Do i make out the payment to daniel koster or to himalayan imports ?

Hi All,
I got my 12" and 15 " AK in a couple of days...way to go daniel ! and your marketing skills are not that bad either...
The 15 " scabbard is a little loose for the khuk...So any suggestions to tighten it will be taken.. The khuk looks ok,Finish is good with a decent balance. The chakma is ok but the karda is ugly looking .both dont fit as well either. On the other hand it was from a good DOTD so i'm not complainin'... The khuk and karda are pretty sharp.
The 12 " one is all good. Good chakma, karda ,nice looking scabbard ,nice sharpness ,good fit for everything and good finish.
I'm new at this.. I've gone through the safety posts so Ill try to not injure myself
I have done some iaido (art of drawing the katana)and do kendo on a regular basis . So i'm hoping it'l help me be safe when I draw and cut..
:D
Comparisions...mmm... The chiruwa Ak by sher which I bought for full price (because I didnt know better a couple fo weeks ago) is a beauty. The balance is really nice. I feel no undue pressure on my wrist when i did swing it against some wood(can't say what kind).Fit to scabbard is perfect . Chakma and karda are nice looking and fit well.Finish is good on everything.
I also got a baby dankutte with a metal handle(thank you daniel !) from the next DOTD . it's really nice with a tight fit to the scabbard. It's small but I was surprised with tthe width of the spine ...it looks like a knife that can be worked with .Came pretty sharp
I'm hoping to give all my knives the Yvsa test(thanks to uncle bill's post about this..I will pray for his soul..) this weekend and give my gifts to my friends. I know for a fact that the 12 inch Ak is going to go through some pretty rough tropical jungles. So I'll pass on the field report when I get it from him !

Excellent!
I hope y'all had a great weekend. My friend's loved their khuk presents. I tested out the chiruwa Ak. Fit, finish, balance and edge are good.Scabbard is good and so are the chakma and karda. There's some scratches from chopping wood but that's to be expected. It chopped through a 6 inch dried limb of a tree pretty fast(>15 mins). My friend tried to bend the blade , I think he got it to bend for a couple of seconds but no permanent signs of the bend.
So lateral strength is good.Wooden handle is so very comfortable on this one.I continue to be impressed by this khuk !
