Saturday Surprises

Sawby and Bennica!! It does not get much better than that for me...especially with lapis.

Thanks so much for sharing Dave!!!

Wowza!!!

The Bennica is my favorite, but they're all jaw droppers!

Charly Bennica, Scott Sawby, Jack Levin, Barry Davis.

Wonderful pieces Dave!

And it quickly becomes obviously who knows their folders.

I knew the Bennica and the Barry Davis. :o
This could become a game; name that knife..... ;)

Some friends and I sometimes play a game of name that classic car part.

Trying to identify by just a glance of taillight or gauge cluster or ash tray or such.

Holly cow - I've never seen 4 Bennicas together... Those need a Sharp by Coop picture... ;)

Doug, thanks for the compliment. To tell you the truth, I don't know what type of snake is used for the sheaths. I have also heard it said that they are lizard skin.

Charly Bennica's wife, Chantal, is the maker of the sheaths and the display cases. Her craftsmanship is spectacular as well, and I think the display cases and sheaths really put a great finishing touch on Charly's knives.

Dave, thanks for saying so....I know you have some more pics of great Bennicas, so throw them up here anytime. I love to see your posts. I had been frequenting your site to admire that Bennica with Gold and Tortoise that you had available.

Joss, you are exactly right. Coop has photographed the two lapis knives already, but not together. I plan to purchase some enlarged prints from him in the near future, but I would love to have him photograph the group.

Dave,
I see that you still have quite a few wow-amazing knives
hidden away somewhere...... :) Beautiful show!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Great looking knives as usual Dave. Certainly glad to see you posting images of your wonderful collection. Looking forward to the next ones.

Dave,

OK I am a little slow over here it's Monday :D.

Thank you for taking the time to post those. Those knives are incredible.
