Hi :)

Another folder :)

San Mai damascus (SAE 1010,1075 y alma de AISI 5160)
Closed length: 4 1/2" - Opened: 8 1/4"
SS opening pin and liners.
Bolsters in 420 MoV, following the style of the handle slabs, that were made in "Mulita" shell.

Hi Ruben, love yer work! What is that "Mulita" you say is on the handle; im intrigued.
 
Firstly, beautiful knife.

How does the mulita feel. Does it have the feel of bone...or more of leather? How durable is it? Just curious...

Really interesting....and...did I mention...beautiful....
 
The sensation in hand is like bone, but as every shell, it's impermeable. Duration and care is like any other organic material :)

Ruben, you are going to make me look at "Dillers" in a whole new way. I would have never thought about a Armadillo hull as a knife handle scale. To think of all the knife handles I have straddled on the highway........
