I checked the archives and have not found anything on the
R.E.K.A.T Savant any feedback would be appreciated.
 
I have one. It is much more refined than the Pioneer it replaces (I have a PII as well). It's also much lighter due to the use of aluminum instead of steel in the body of the knife. However, due to that, it no longer feels as "tough" as it used to. Performance otherwise is similar to the Pioneer. The handle is more comfortable. Edge holding ability is the same as previous models (IOW good). The blade coating scratches too easily though. I don't like the tip up carry method, but that's a personal issue. Overall, it's what the Pioneer should've been all along.
