was surfing last nite and saw 1SKS has savants for sale - has anyone got one yet, and if so, ya have impressions???

Guess by nature, I'm one of the cynics who, when told a new product has better materials, better quality, and a lower price, starts wondering about what has been going on in the past. Or, I am skeptical about the "betterness" of the new.

I do hope the claims/promises will prove to be true. The only knife I own that I have come to actively dislike is my Pioneer 1. Maybe I'll be able to find a Savante at a B&M and be persuaded to buy one. But, won't hold my breath.
 
ya, kinda know what ya mean - no body in my area carries REKAT except one guy at the gunshow has a SIFU every now and again, but only other thing, a pocket hobbit, one time so doubt i will be able to handle one in person .....was hoping somebody had grabbed one and was wondering if i want one....
