Here is a 10/10 Ganga Ram Special made and marked by the kami with no name -- 22 inches and 3 pounds of heavy duty chopping power. Fit, finish, hardness all tops. The only thing I can find wrong with the knife is a couple of small spots on the blade with a little minor rust damage. I figure about 30 minutes with sandpaper from 300 to 2000 grit will bring the entire blade up the magic stone mirror finish.

Karda and chakma are really nice but each has a small spot of rust damage -- about five or ten minutes with the sandpaper.

And the scabbard has a tiny tear at the mouth of the scabbard which you can see in the pix if you look close. It's a black rubber cement fix.

Because of the above irregularities we will discount this rig $50 and deliver it to your door for $145. This makes your cleanup time worth about 80 or 90 bucks per hour.

Call or email if interested.

If I had a chest as big as my belly...

Some one's gonna have a good catch with this one!!!!

I have found that for some reason the GRS's strike what I'm aiming for much more accurately than other models.

I've noticed something with tomahawks that might explain that. When the hawk has a thin blade and the weight of the head is mainly in the eye, I find it turns in my hand more easily, and that it doesn't hit as accurately.

When the hawk has a thicker blade and thinner eye, it seems much more stable on a stroke.

I think this has to do with the rotational inertia of the head. When the weight is centered around the eye, it's easier to turn the blade off line. When the blade is thicker, it doesn't twist around the axis of the handle as easily, and little variations in mechanics don't throw it off so much.

With the GRS's fat belly and forward curve, I wonder if it might work like the thick-bladed hawk?

Jest theorizin'. I think it's a doctor thing . . . always trying to figure out what makes things work.

Doc thanks for the analytical approach to the reasons as to the why.

Your theory makes a lot of sense.

Much to the chagrin of many people who would like to regress to the old ways totally we need people who think in lineal and analytical thoughts just to keep those of us who tend to think in circles, that start like a pebble tossed in a quiet pool and keep radiating outwards, in line. And visey versa

This would have been the big brother for my BGRS blem from the Kami with No Name.
Unfortunately I had to take my dog to the vet, $211 yikes! But Ursula's a priceless friend, even in khukuri-currency.
Can't believe it hasn't sold already. Some of the most severely infected HIKV'ers must be napping.

Hey, I would get it but I am broke from my last special. And among the bills my HIKV has gone into recession.

Maybe the ink in $$ has something to do with the emergence of HIKV. Could this somehow be linked to deep dark caves? (researching)

Hmmmm, I think I need to look up the phone # for the nearest treasury. Dallas has one... I will find out. I know I am already on sombody's government list, might as well go wake'em up.

Later,

I've been drooling on my keyboard all day long. But Wal just sent me his 25" Kobra and I don't think I need another big kuk right away. I would have jumped on the UBE if I would have been online at the time though

Uncle, I don't think you can EVER put up too many UBDOTDs... keep them coming and I will get one sooner or later

I'm tempted too, but I've already spent too much on knives and such recently. The BAS arrived today, the so did the credit card bill (with the BAS on it).

The UPS guy was at my apartment on Wed, Thu, and Fri last week, and I have to go to the post office again tomorrow to pick up another package. After that, I think there's only three more packages inbound.

I got too much else going on right now. I don't need one this big anyhow. See how I can decieve myself into believing something. Really though, I got one of those custom "kenpo" knives on order and I don't want to get anything until I pay for that.

This one must've simply dropped through some sort of crack in the Universe where people can't see it. Unbelievable that it's lasted this long. If this blade is similar to my Bura-made GRS, just picking it up is enough to make you feel like Paul Bunyon.
It's just a fluke that it's still here, Bill. Perish the thought that you're putting up too many specials. In fact, just yesterday after buying that UBE by Durba I was thinking that this past week or two has been like the good old days when UBDOTDs appeared in droves every day of the week. Knowing that you can check in with HI and see pix of new Ks for sale just about daily is one of the sweet joys of living.

"Let's cut the price to $125 and see if we get any takers."

Ouch!!! Uncle Bill. Why don't you just stretch me across the rack and tighten down the thumb screws a little more

Folks we're over the 24hr mark and this khuk is now a kneglected knife. It's a gorgoeus KNN bred GRS who loves to chew on trees and it just needs a little polishing. Please won't somone give it a good home?

This is killing me!

I'd really like a GRS. Just paid the credit card bill, let's see how much money I have left...
