Saving a choking victim on an airplane

This thread quickly got away from my original intention. I'm not interested in how to open the airway, or whether, or how much, to slap or Heimlich. My original question assumed that the doctor had decided he needed a knife (that's his call) and that for some reason it was up to you to provide it.

What would (should) be in your pocket ON A PLANE that might be of some use?

Uncle Bill; sorry. Knife should be small, and with narrow blade. Classic SAK would be fine. Using a Sebenza risks frightening everyone. Walt

Why Uncle Bill, who would notice a Micra? Given enough time you could fillet a person with one. And make a nice silent lamb suit.

And Walt, what's a cr.. crik.. crisco.. oh heck, give me a minute to go back and copy and paste........ cricothyrotomy? An emergency airway opening?
