Savson did good

A while back there were serious complaints about Savsonswordsandknives.com. The owner was a one man show and was dealing with some very serious medical problems and the end result was that things got very screwed up over there and many people were unhappy. I believe a relative came in to help Randy put things back together several months back and so after giving it some time I decided to place an order to see how things were shaping up.

Anyway, on Monday Feb. 4th I ordered a CPMD2 Military and one of the Spyderco Kopas in honey jigged bone. I got email to confirm that they had shipped within two hours and the knives arrived yesterday, Feb. 7th in perfect shape. VERY prompt considering I'm in California and Savson is in Ohio. I also noticed the very next day after ordering, the D2 Military was gone from the website. So not only did I get the last one, but they immediately updated the site to make sure nobody else ordered one and couldn't get it.

Just wanted to point out that progress is definitely being made over there.

Savsonswordsandknives always did a great job filling orders, having great prices and with customer contact. Then like you said he had a lot of problems. But hopefully it's all behind them now and we will see the sort of service they offered before.
He has shipped me orders from California more often than Ohio so I don't know where yours came from, but it's possible it came from your own state.

I have ordered a few knives from Randy with very good sevice, the last time I checked his site he had removed his Phone # so I declined to purchase from him in that instance. I guess this was when he was infirmed. Glad to hear all's well, he had very competitive prices. Cheers
