I flat semi convex ground this Nessmuk from a vintage 10 inch table saw blade; one of those that had NO carbide inserts which make very good knives. After the knife was ground the blade was deferentially heat treated to an edge hardness of about 60Rc.

Blade length 4" from tip to wood scale and bright steel finish (not polished).

Overall length 9" long

Handle is black diamond wood attached to the knives full tangs with loveless bolts and epoxy.

3/16" diameter brass lined lanyard hole.

Sheath is 8/9 ounce tooled leather with belt loop.

SOLD Price $85 Shipped anywhere in United States

Very cool looking. Did you finish the other one made from that 2nd part of that farrier's rasp? Just curious.

That is a whole lot of comfort and hard use functionality for a great price. I like the sheath a lot also.

Hello awestib, breadman and Stump Buster and thanks for the kind word on my work. The 3/32" thick blade and flat semi convex grind this thing does cutt and slice and the contour of the handle does feel nice and comfortable in my hand. Kelley

My first Hardedge knife arrived today :D The Saw Blade Nessmuk.

This is a great one. Knife and sheath are a perfect package of easy carry working class tool. They aren't precious works of knife art but no matter - they are certainly a first class set of excellent craftsmanship and utility. Will be well used and passed on.

Thanks Kelley. Very nicely done.
