Here is a Nessmuk cut from an old vintage buzz saw blade then deferentially heat treated after grinding. The buzz saw did not have carbide tipped teeth so the steel of the saw (L6 or similar) had to be good enough to do the cutting. The blade is 4.5 inches long, 9.2 inches overall and is .11 inches thick. The handle is Wenge wood. A Kydex sheath comes with this knife and is setup to accept a standard Tek Lok.
This is a great skinner and bushcraft knife that despite its .11” thickness is very tough and will stand up to heavy batoning.
