I got 2 saw blades the other day and was told they are the best the lumber mill buys. they are 30 inch diameter and have carbon tips and 1/8 inch thick would they be 15n20 or L6 . I dont know so i de thought ide ask. and how would i tell.

Does it say the make and model on the side? Your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer.

If you mean carbide tips, then the body is most likely not 15N20. All steel ( non-carbide) blades may be usable, but the exact alloy can vary a lot. Contact the manufacturer for the steel content.
