I think who ever is in charge needs to outlaw all and everything that can be made into a weapon. as in, knives, guns, pencels, pens, nail files, ice picks, screw drivers, razor blades, razors, ect, ect,ect,......
I saw a guy on TV charged with assault with a deadly weapon when he tried to run over some one. Try to conceal that in your pocket.
"But Sir, I have a Concealed Weapon Permit."
After re-reading my post I thought I should qualify somthing. First the petition sent to Representative Gonzales was about much more than his vote friday, he's maintained his incumbency unopposed. His father, the late Henry B. Gonzales held this districs seat for decades, and the district is so heavily minority (hispanic) democrat, the Republican Party won't waste time or money sponcering a canidate to run against him. Term after term he remains incumbent by default, without the people in the district even having a chance to vote. This frees him to vote the extreme socialist agenda without fear of reprisal by the voter in the next election. Their is a minority in the district, myself included, that are obviously a bit perturbed by this. Term after term we are forced to not just remain without representation, but are forced to endure representation by somone diametricly opposed to our beliefs, who knows he is not accountable to the voters, because we never get a chance to vote for anyone else, so basicly we are being denied the right to vote!
As to banning everything that could be made into a weapon, I'm beginning to think that that's what it is going to take to get Americans rilled up enough to oppose opression, by voting these paracites out of office. By then it may be too late, and they'll probably over-react, resulting in a revolt of some kind. Voter apathy and the desire for a nanny government to wipe our a**es for us, is doing what no foreign army on earth could accomplish. The sad part is, there is no one to blame, but the American voter! javascript:smilie('
