A mora in a store. I live in MA, and occasionally I stop in a sporting goods store in Cambridge on my way back on the train. This is a small shop, hunting, fishing, camping, guns, knives, etc. They tend to have a small selection of just about everything, and prices are where you would expect. I go there to fondle a handgun or rifle every once in a while, look to see if there is anything interesting. I'm on my way out the door and look down into the case and see a bunch of mora knifes and sheaths. Never thought I would see that, so YES, you can find a mora in a store.

Wow, I've never seen one in a store either. It's always nice to find something locally. What were the prices like compared to Ragweed?

Curious, I lived in and near Cambridge for several years. Is that place on Mass Ave just north of Porter?

I have heard of people getting them in hardware stores and the like, but never seen them. I would also like to hear about their price and selection.

I\'ll have to keep my eyes open for moras locally.

Yes I know, bad grammar. I noticed after I typed it in. I actually didn't look for prices for a reason, I am trying my darndest to not buy anything. They were larger Mora's than usual, some filet knife types, others scandi woodworking types with the leather sheaths you see on Ragweed.

It has to be Roach's Sporting Goods, it's been there forever, only one I know of in Cambridge.

You guys should really visit Scandinavia some day. Every single hardware store you'll find is so stocked with Moras you can buy them in buckets of 50 for about $ 50. :D

That's okay - I always close my eyes whenever I'm whizzing my buck saw through a log - that way I don't see what I saw either :D:D:D:D

So did you pull the trigger????? Do tel.

Thank you! I could not remember the name at all. That was the place I was thinking of.

Went in there a few times- I recall their prices being a bit high, but they had some really cool stuff. I lived within walking distance on 2 separate occasions. :)

If ever in East TN and the Smoky Mountains area, Smoky Mountain Knife Works has them in their show room for sale, and of course online too.
