Sorry I can't change title. Its not a switch blade. But a knife that has interchangable blades if this makes sense. Locking screw and pin. I don't know how it works I didn't make it.

All respect, mate, but the folks here are mostly going to puzzle over why this lovely knife doesn't have a release button or a place for the blade to fold into. lol... "Switchblade" and "Switch Blade" is too fine a distinction for us Yanks !

Hey mate, Sorry I don't know too much about it. Like I said I inherited the knife. I may have called it wrong. Interchangable blades. Not sure correct name. But has a lock screw underneath and small button on the top. Sorry for confusion. I will try to amend the post.
Troy.

Hi, Troy ! Nah, no big deal, mate, it's just there's a fascination with automatic knives in this country, the latest fad being "OTF" (out-the-front knifes that extend and retract automatically by pushing a rectangular switch frontwards and back). So likely slot of folks here who see "Switch Blade" are thinking it's an automatic opener.

I remember seeing these knives way back when. If memory serves, you really aren't far off from what the maker called this model, which was "Switch-A-Blade". (No Italian jokes !)

Happy to help ID any knives you're unsure about, and otherwise best of luck with your sales.

Cheers ! James

Any you get stumped by, a decent resource for researching brands is AZCK dot com. (Arizona Custom Knives.) Just go to the search function and enter as few words as possible. You might have to scroll past active "For Sale" stuff, but there aren't many makes that haven't been handled there.

Thanks mate. I have been using Arizona Knives and will probably be send them some hi-end knives to sell. If they have makers name engraved all good but some don’t or I can’t read there name. Then the ones that use a symbol like this one. It’s a folder with pins grooved to match grooves in stag. Very cool.
Any ideas on maker?
Thanks
Troy.

What is the line under the "E.L./E.D.L." stamp ?

Also, you might want to order a copy of Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings. About $25 from Amazon. If you have knives by unknown makers, that book could pay for itself many times over by helping you ID a valuable blade.
