This is from a section of sawmill blade.....has a great grain stucture showing thru the steel.
Blade is apprx. 4" and the OAL is about 7.5" Thickness is about 1/8"
Forged...edge quenched and double tempered....the blade is flat ground and a great cutter. Acid etched to show the grain and hamon.
You can leave it wrapped or attach scales if you want......the tang is soft so you can drill it for pins....but it is great like it is. No sheath.
