well, he is still having it rough. They shocked his heart back into rythem yesterday. Teh nurse said that he was crying saying that he has one more grandbaby to help raise (my little baby to be). Just breaks my heart guys.......
I have to shave him tomorrow...His Face you sickos :)
He asked if I could do it...made me smile :)
He was too sick today to be shaved so were hopeing for tomorrow being better. :thumbup:

have him breath deep often and cough a lot to keep water from building up in his lungs..
My dad is 71 and he just had a hip replaced and the staples out last Monday..
so that is fresh in my mind..I'm heading to the coast tomorrow to winterize his boat for him..

my last grand dad, 84 YsO
dads dad..
died of lung complications while in the hospital with a broken clavicle.

he had good lungs too..old guys and Hospitals don't mix well..
so keep on him and make him happy, it make all the difference in the world..

he is tough alright :) Keeps on plowing along...I just dont know how long he can keep going to be honest. At some point your body just wins......

I just got back from my visit ,, just about 275 miles round trip..
but worth every one of them..

sometimes we just have to give up but It doesn't sound like he's ready for that yet..he knows, we never give up the ship, mate.. :thumbup:
 
well, he is sitting up and eating solid foods noe :thumbup: Maybe he can go home late next week...thats what I am hoping for :D
 
We just went to take off his trash for our GRandmother. We have also had ALOT of rain the last couple days and the cover on there modest above ground pool is pooling up water, which pushes own on the pool water making it overflow. He was worried about that and to get the water off the tarp(cover) he rigged a damn mouth starting syphon you pump it off..Too Cool! :thumbup:

I'm surprised he didn't rig up an induction pump like we had on the ships :D
but he's using his head,, or yours :D

Prayers have been being sent,just couldn't post here as I just upgraded to Gold the other day.Hope he gets to come home this week.Sorry,didn't realize I could post here as a registered user.
