Say Goodbye to Danelle (djo62)

Goodbye?
Fat chance!
I posted a message in the other topic, the "Notice to all Forum Members" and I think that pretty well sums it up.

Heyns, I DO have time to visit! And do laundry, (you really have to empty the lint filter every time? wow...)
spend time with my kids, and oh yea, I'm still going to play with sharp pointy objects!

Thanks
Danelle

Danelle - sorry to hear of your departure from Spyderco. My best wishes to you in your future endeavors, and most important of all - don't neglect your BF family here.

Danelle,

All of a sudden I feel isolated again, however I now understand yesterday's cryptic comment a little better

. Good luck in whatever lies ahead and don't be a stranger here. And drop by if you're ever in the neighbourhood

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Danelle the Spyderco representative is gone, but like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, Danelle the forumite is born anew.

We all wish you the best Danelle and welcome as a new forumite with a fresh new start and lots of sharp things to talk about.

I would be proud as punch if Danelle would reregister as Phoenix instead of djo62! How about it Danelle O'Shea? A new handle is like starting afresh. If you don't like Phoenix, pick your own and don't tell us - let us guess for awhile!

It's ok if you think it's a dumb idea. My teenagers tell me I have dumb ideas all the time!

It's really hard when good things come to an end, but there's a reason for everything, I guess. I just hope you'll "hang" with us occassionally in the future, Danelle. The forums wouldn't be the same without you, as you've been a super person to talk with. Thanks for all you've done and the joy you've shared with us.

Danelle:

Just to add my own word of thanks for the help you have rendered to me on a couple of occasions, and to the Forum generally. You are part of the reason Spyderco is my favorite knife company.

Have you thought about going to work for the Colorado Rockies? They could sure use the help.

Hi, Danelle!!
biggrin.gif

Congratulations on making the change with your positive attitude still intact! Make sure it stays that way. As you mentioned in the other thread, God is still in control. He's still on the throne. (Rom. 8:28) Enjoy your time off! And if you feel He wants you to go back to work, we both know that He will direct you and give you a position that you can enjoy as much as or more than the one you left. Trust Him continually.

Enjoy your kids and the free time. (And, yes, ya gotta clean that lint thingy a bit more often.)

See you around (on the forums, of course!).

God's Best now and always!

Danelle, I wish the best for you in whatever you wind up doing. I will be holding you in the Light (Quakerspeak for praying for you). I shall be looking forward to your continued participation in our little virtual community. As an aside, I use an ergonomic keyboard with a touchpad, so I am passing the Spydie Mouse Pad that you sent me last Spring along to Bob Irons, who was seeking a knife-oriented one.

Thanks, everyone!
The kind words here and letters through email are certainly a light in the cloud cover. Your encouragement is uplifting.

Remember the silly "Everybody's Free (to wear sunscreen)" song last spring? Truer words were never spoken:

~~The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday. ~~

Bent but not broken, friends.

Who is a Danelle ?
What is Spyderco ?
This is not the RS232 Interface Lead Lover Forum ?
No ?

Anyway, now, Danelle you need to come to visit us in France.

Cheers,
JM Moreau

As I sit here looking down at the little Centofante pin a tear falls and bounces off the little handle onto the floor. It seems some how right that it's raining outside, the weather will miss her as well as all of us.....

Nemo -

I thought it was just me in the wrong forum!

How do I make a DB-25 loopback plug out of paperclips?
