Hey Dan, I will post some pics later...but I must say, I don't know if you forgot to sharpen the edge or etch your signature or anything that distinguished the knife as a one of a kind like I had asked but I was very disappointed to get what seems like a below Koster quality knife even for a standard Nessmuk.

Please email me to let me know what happened...I now wonder if I sent the wrong knife?!? or perhaps rushed out the door with an unfinished knife?!?

I always etch and sharpen my knives....dang....I feel like an idiot!


If you want, you can send it back on my dime and I will fix it or replace it with something else (plus some 'upgrades' to make up for the inconvenience).

I'd leave the pics alone and take care of this via email, which IMO is how it should have been brought to Dan's attention in the first place.


Dan will always make things right, everyone makes a mistake every once in awhile....

My apologies to you TONYM and anyone else who reads this thread...your post caught me at a bad moment where my disappointment caught the best of me and when all was said and done it was an inexcusable gesture on my part. Thank you for the compliment, albeit a backhanded one...a compliment nonetheless.

I have followed up with Dan and it is being taken care of.

I'm in Harrisburg as well. I could show you a couple of sweet Koster knives that would restore your faith. :)

I'm sure this will all get worked out. Props to you for apologizing...we all have those off days from time to time.
