I must say that this Arc lock really impress me a lot.. Perhaps the best lock i have in my little collection.. No blade play and it is very very smooth to operate!

Good to hear about the lock, that is an extremely important aspect of course.c
I do love the blade shape, the recurve bowie style is a favorite.

My only Arc lock SOGs are a pair of Vulcans, and I think that they compare really well to anything that Benchmade has made in an Axis lock in terms of smoothness and firm lockup. I've never handled a Tomcat, but I think that if SOG would make more knives with this lock their reputation would go WAY up.

That knife looks really well made. I'm not usually a fan of SOG, but damn. This could change that. Unlike a few other people I'm this thread, I actually like the little cutout with the logo, I think it adds flair without being ugly.

Is there a sheath available from SOG? I like carrying folders on my belt and don't mind a lack of a pocket clip if I can do that.
