SB.2 marking on Buck/Strider?

The SB.2 should mean it's the "mini" version folder of the Strider Buck series, could be tanto or spear point. An upside down U? If like that it means the knife was produced in 1997! I don't know if the Strider Buck collaboration came out or not that year. So is it an open side down "["? If it is then that means it's produced in 2001. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
p.s. The full size version Strider Buck folder (both tanto and spear point) is marked as SB.1; the fixed blade Strider Buck Solution is marked as SB.3 (if i don't remember wrong).
