• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I got this in the local antique shop today. The guy running the place did not know anything about the knife, nor did I. He had it marked for 89.99. I figured that it was a nice enough knife to spend that even without knowing anything about it. The knife is marked only with "SB" on the tang and "9732" stamped on the guard. After a little searching, I found that it was made by Steve Brooks from somewhere in Montana. There is not a lot of information on the internet about him or his knives. If anyone knows anything about him or his knives, it would be much appreciated.

I googled Steve Brooks Knives and there is a fair amount of information on him. Check some of the sales sites and i think you will find you got a great margin at 89.99. John

You're right. I missed his website when I looked before. I guess he makes bullet moulds too. I guess I did ok at 90 bucks. Only way I could have ever owned one of these knives. I had found some of his knives on a sales site, but they were smaller, hunter models

Damascus and stag! What a deal.

Yes, I can't believe my luck. Normally if someone is selling something for way too little because they don't know what they have, I try to do the right thing and give them a fair offer, in this case, him being an antique dealer and neither of us knowing about the knife I'm just calling it good luck
