This is one of SBG's excellent T10 tool steel katanas. This was a limited run they did called the Black Dragon. It features a double pegged 29" bo hi blade of T10 tool steel differentially heat treated with a prominent and authentic hamon. No etched junk here! Saya is a matte black. Tsuka is 10" all black, wrap and same'. Dragon themed hardware.

This sword was made to do work and the T10 is supposed to be very durable and forgiving should you botch a cut. This sword is light and nimble in the hand. Fit and finish is on par with all the other entry level katana I have handled but what really sets this thing apart is the blade. It's obvious that it's where most of the production cost for this piece went. The sword simply comes with a black/white sword bag. It has never been used in any way and has not been altered since

Here's your chance to get one of their excellent T10 blades without the hassle of ordering from Cananada or waiting for them to get their next batch- they sell out fast!

I will also include an unopened DVD: Sword Master Dana Abbott's Beginners Guide to the Japanese Sword

The hamon was difficult to catch in pics but it is prominent and crisp the entire length of the blade

I also bought a new set of hardware to dress it up and make it my own but never got to put it on. This can be included in a package with the sword or seperate. It is a good bit heavier than the stock fittings and would improve the look and feel a good bit I think. That beautiful blade deserves nicer trappings. These fitting are well made and the quality shows.

I also have a Bark River STS-8 user. It is used and has some scratches on the blade. The black accents were stripped by the previous owner. It's still in good shape and not beat up. Used but not abused. Factory sheath included, sorry no box. This is a great knife and I like it a lot but there are other big fixed blades I would like to try. Looking to trade it for something in the same size range, stainless only. See my want list for some ideas of what I like in this dept. GONE

I have a Boker Tree Brand Barlow with bone scales. I bought it new and have never used it, it has sat in my knife drawer because I prefer SS blades in this humid FL environment. It developed a small spot of patina on the main blade but other than that it's pristine. Box included as new. I would like to trade this for a SS or D2 bladed Barlow, I can add the Case XX Sodbuster JR SS to sweeten a deal.
