SCA fun thread...

High is 64 tomorrow. I'm headed to ranch. You guys have a great weekend as well.
Terry

Terry, if you go through Ranger Texas, that's where my mom was born. So does that make me an ItaloTexan? :-D

Dino

It's in your blood Dino. Texan really is more of a state of mind. You sound like a Texan to me. You just need to come home now.

I have plenty of kin on both sides of the Tejas/Louisianna border.

I rolled my '68 GTO Judge in the desert.
Funny thing is the armadillo lived, as far as the EMT's report-no carcass found, or it was a ghost armadillo...

The weekends historical trek went well. Good warm feet, perfect temperature-no slush and no minus. We roasted a pork shoulder and made fresh pintos and habanero rice. And coffee that could hold a horseshoe upright(Hidalgo).

I lived in Shrevesport and Bossier and Wacko, er Waco, for awhile. A lot of time in Texarkana. Ahh natures little tank. Neat little creatures, but can be a litttle destructive. Sounds like you were really lucky in that one. Glad your weekend was good. I hit some road debri on the way to the ranch. It cut the main and auxillary fuel lines on the top of the fuel tank. Luckily no fire. I had a 20 bl.propane tank in the back. I didn' know fuel lines where so hard to get. Won't have them in until Thursday.

Darn Terry, glad you didn't have a fire. Yeah, they act like fuel lines are some rare item that no-one ever needs...I usually replace mine with the flexible high pressure lines with 2 high pressure clamps at either end as they seam to resist the sub-zero cold better than the factory lines, of course they are more delicate. My friend used copper lines last winter and they're still working fine, a bit green from the road salt, I keep telling him to replace em in the summer, he's experimenting to see how long they last.
: )
