***SOLD***
First up is a Jack Mosher 2 bl Scagel folder with creamy preban elephant ivory scales -- 3 1/2" closed and about 3/4" thick across the back and scales - with two 2 1/2" blades with no half stops (A2 steel with Paul Bos heat treatment). Both blades are very well centered when closed. Has domed pins (don't think they were spun - more peened to shape then buffed smooth and rounded) and a double pinned "sculpted" arrowhead shield. Even has fully sunk joints -- this is a real "Sunday go to meeting" Scagel folder. Mint - never carried, never used, never sharpened. Note however - the action is a bit, well, unique. The pull is moderate to firm - and snaps to open quite firmly and solidly -- however the closing snap is quite soft. This was intentional -- I got it directly from Jack and he noted this - it was done to make the initial opening pull easier, but of course it makes the snap closed much softer too -- however, you might find it a bit surprising on a Scagel folder, so I want you to be aware. Asking $235 for it -- USPS Priority Mail included, CONUS only, PayPal instant payment only please (fee included in price) - insurance extra if desired.
