Thanks, I. Know AA forge does use almost of 52100 and 01. Appreciate it.

Info on the Scagel from KSF website:

In 1910, Bill Scagel began his career making knives. He didn’t know it, but he was beginning an entire industry of custom knives in the United States.

Now, 100 years later, his name graces a knife he would have been proud to make.

We took a classic handle design by Scagel himself and designed a strikingly beautiful Scagel knife. We worked hard to preserve Scagel’s classic touches while adding modern functionality.

These are some of the finest Scagel knives ever built. Thanks to Mike Stewart at Bark River for producing them for us.
•Overall Length: 10.125"
• Blade Length: 5.5 Inches Scagel Sheath
•Blade Steel: A-2 @ 58rc
•Blade Thickness: .217 Inch
•Weight: 7.5 oz
•Convex Ground

This sheath was designed especially for the project and adds a real touch of class to the whole package. Even the snap shouts, “Scagel!”

I was told by a fellow member that the steel is 52100. The blade dimensions are 4" long and a tad over 1/8" thick , tapering to the point. The overall length is 8-3/4" on the AA Forge small hunter. Also added picture of the knives in their sheaths.
