This is a new un used ,very unique hand made knife,by Jeremy Ray Turner . Steel is forged 5160. OAL is 7-5/8" ,it has about 3-1/8" of cutting edge . Handle is stacked leather ,contoured,micarta type spacer with green accents. Nickel guard and a deer antler crown as a cap. Feels pretty darn good in hand. I had a friend Jones Bros. leather make a sheath . He did a great job,it " pops " on past the guard for a very secure fit ,hand crafted ,hand sewn.
This maker from Northern CA makes these Scagels I do believe almost exclusively but usually much larger so this smaller version is a neat find
