Scagel style

Awesome job on this one, the sheath also, pure craftsmanship and art.

WOW- I have wanted a Scagel style blade for a long time. If I had the chance, I would be most happy with your interpretation. Nice photography as well!

Duly impressed, no machines at all? Awesome.
Thank you zachtateknives, belt grinder up to nuisance 400 and then only by hand for the blade ( http://www.trentinistefano.it/tecnica.htm ); the rest, belt grinder up to 60 grit and then always by hand. Drill and oven (and to reconstruct the part of horn where I have removed the small horn, a Dremel) nothing else. Regards :)
A pair of pics of the stag/horn after the modification but not yet finished at 100%

VERY nice. I like the Scagel style very much and your interpretation is one of my favorites. Great work! I really like the spacers on the handle as well as the face in the butt.

I too thought the filework was serrations. I would probably like it better on that knife without the filework.

NICE sheath too!

Peter

Thank you very much Peter (this is my first Scagel style knife) but are the pics that do not permit to appreciate well the filework; in the hand, is another thing ;) Regards :)

Very nice Stefano. Beautiful handle!

Great work.

Kind regards,

I am glad that this was brought back up.

I like everything about this knife and sheath! The way the package all matches together, the trim on the wooden portion of the sheath. Fantastic.

Don't, know how I missed this one first time around.
A fine knife and sheath demonstrating all kinds of skills.
