Scale fasteners - chicago screws?

I am planning on making some scales for a busse skeleton out of canvas micarta or G10 and need to find some fasteners that would work. I am looking for a hex or torx flat topped chicago-type screw, preferably black or matte silver. Titanium would be cool. Does anyone know where I can find such a beast? I tried texas knifemaker's supply and they have chicago screws, but only flat-head silver and gold.

"Chicago screws" are also called binding screws; I have never seen them in another configuration other than the domed heads. Something you might consider is to put a screw in from either side with a threaded center piece such as comes on a "Loveless" screw. Then you can simply use the appropriate socket head cap screws. It will take a little relieving inside the scale to accomodate enough insert to thread both sides into.
