THEY GOTTA GO SALE:
TAKE FIVE DOLLARS OFF EACH REMAINING PAIR!

Took inventory and I have way too much of this stuff laying around, and I need to fund some more materials. Lets try to find customers for some of
these experiments, oddballs and almost certainly guaranteed to be one of a kinds. Prices are in US dollars. Priced somewhat less than I would charge for comparable custom orders. There are some diamonds in the rough, as well as some potential lumps of coal. No guarantees, but I'll answer any questions as best as I can.

"I'll take number XX" on this thread saves the set until we make contact

All sizes are approximate, but generally a bit larger than measurements listed

US Shipping:
Priority: 7-12 dollars depending on number and weight of scales.
1st class or parcel post by request.

Looks like shipping costs to outside the USA is as follows:
I am now shipping in the USPS global priority standard rate envelopes for $11US to Europe, ??? to elsewhere.*
Looks like they will take up to 6 pair pretty nicely

For 1 or 2 pair, I can ship 1st class for about half that, perhaps a little more. We can discuss shipping options, just PM me and we can work it out.

1st class shipping should be 5-10 days, but closer to ten. Priority shipping 6-10 days, but closer to six.

*Hong Kong shipping is a couple dollars less for 1st class, a couple more for priority go figure

Don't see what you want? Contact me and lets discuss me making it for you.
Paypal preferred

Let me know if you have any questions.

Even worse picture by request.

Thanks for looking

-Todd

$25

11] Paper Pinstripes
**SOLD**
$15 each, 2 available:

1-3/4 x 5-1/8 x 3/4 (4.4cm x 13cm x 2cm)

These are very cool, but are fragile to an extent...it has small delams, but it can be dealt with. It will need a solid backing and/ or topcoating, but worth it, I think.

thats all for now...

On the #14, Twisted Light and Dark Brown Burlap, how deep are the custom surface voids? Thanks
- Mitch

Thanks for the interest.
Here is a couple more pics. Hopefully that helps. on the "light" sanded side the dark spots are the voids, they are about the same on the opposite side. The worst is on the edge and you can see them pretty good in the pics.

What is the material makeup of the paper pinstripes? I love those!

Um. Paper.:)

3 strips of white, 7/32"of black (20 strips?). Repeat.

When it cures, I cut the blocks across the "grain" instead of with it like we usually see.

I like it a lot. If I were to get more interest, I'd do other colors, but...

Thanks for the kind words and interest,
-Todd

Todd. You mentioned that these paper pinstripes where fragile and had some delams, is this common when working with the paper? Or just this particular set had some issues?

This set. I way underestimated the stacking time when I made these. Now make sure I use an epoxy with a much longer working time. Also it seems you must have a less viscous epoxy for paper. Some things soak the resin up like a sponge, others need some extra help ensuring a good wet-out. Thicker paper is one that needs that extra attention. This set did not get it, as I was still learning the tricks... The delams are random and perhaps have been affected by the humidity swings here in Michigan. Perhaps the paper might have a coating of some type?

I have since done thinner scales from thicker papers and been successful without a repeat of the delams. I would call the pinstripes learning failures.
