Scales by spketch

I'm quite partial to Steve's work myself (just a few examples from the bunch):

Steve is finishing up my Ivory Snake juma scale this weekend. I blatantly stole the idea after finding this pic of yours a couple of weeks ago. :D

A couple of months ago he made a desert ironwood scale for my Domino that was just absolutely superb. This is a pic of one he did for someone else (can't remember which poster). I'd post one of mine but my photography skills leave something to be desired.

He he he , I was waiting for your Picts evil Greg . How many times did you switch out a southard today.
Beautiful scales.

This is a Southard-free day for me. Every second or third day I carry something other than a Southard, usually. Today it's this sexy Italian beast (notably, one of the few of my knives that Steve hasn't made scales for, thanks to it being a titanium integral):

Nice job spketch.
It looks as though the Ivory Snake and Golden Dragon have served you well.
Congrates my friend you certainly are deserving.

Keyman deserves credit for the juma as well. As far as I know he was one of the first to use it for scales at least as far as I noticed.
Thanks for the kind words man! You and STR were my inspiration to start making scales so it means a lot to me.

Rxavage that's an excellent question! I wonder if the white juma would take and hold dye... Shoot me an email.

Thank you spketch.
I must say, I wasn't fishing for kudos.
Though I am always on the hunt for new materials.
I just wanted to say excellent work and congrates on the recognition.
You deserve it!

You have very good tastes. ;)

Steve, where's your micarta military? That's a personal favorite; barrel spacers, lanyard hole converted to another spacer, and larger torx screws.

The military scales are long sold coiledwire. I am the barefoot shoemaker. I'll make time for my own scales soon, just a few more orders I keep telling myself... :-)
