You guys called it! I'm thinking about maybe getting some scales instead of buying another knife, but I'm not sure at ALL how they'll be priced. I know I've heard of the Wilkens scales going for like double the cost of the knife which I wouldn't consider. But is there a way I can get something made of cheaper (but still just as/more durable than the originals) material? I may sound like a moron, but would $30-ish or less be completely out of the question? I've never bought any custom scales nor have I looked into them before.

I had the same sentiments as you but when i looked into replacement scales i couldn't find anything for less than $100. If you find anything let me know. I'd pay $50 for good replacements but no way i'm paying over a hundred.

I had wanted some for a while (years) so I got sick or looking for a good deal and just purchased a Bone collector to replace my grip.

Thebrain - that's a very similar knife right there... But, I don't wanna part with my Grip... I love it :)

When I researched this I found only one guy who I think does nice work and can do it for under $100.00 but I am guessing more like $75.00 There are Wilkins scales which are considered one of the better ones but they are pricey.

Yeah I got a price for black G-10 scales at $75 from a custom maker. A bit too much for me... I'd rather get another BM for a bit more that comes with G-10 or better ;)
