So I've been interested in getting an affordable Wharncliffe that has decent edge retention. I cant really find anything I like for one reason or another. Short of going about making a knife that suites my needs Ive decided that I may go and buy an existing wharncliffe and modify it.

If you were to make scales for a Benchmade Instigator, how would you go about it in terms of design and ergonomics?

If you have any pictures of examples and such that would be wonderful.
