Scam alert!!!! Important please read!!!

I'm not like everyone else, I felt the need to play with him. I sent him a fake Western Union #, and when I said it didn't work, I said I got one of the numbers wrong and sent him the same number but with one digit changed. He again said that didn't work.
By that time, I had a western union spam in my junk box which said my friend had just sent me $5000 and to contact him to get the funds. So I forwarded that email to him saying my friend just sent me $5000 and that he could have it and to just contact him for it =)
I think I'm pretty funny:D

That is a good one:)

No need to hock the Chuckette, my friend--please just send her along intact ;).

I have been utterly overwhelmed by the number of people on this forum who have emailed me offering to help, and as blue drummer says, many are people I've only had a few contacts with. Just astonishing. I wouldn't want to go through this again, but I doubt I ever would have understood the depth of this brotherhood unless it happened to me.

As if by example, the first contact I had about the problem was a personal phone call from Jerry at the crack of dawn (MDT:D) yesterday, checking to make sure I was okay. Shortly thereafter, PeterPHWS called me from England, worried that I may have contacted him because he was there in country and thought he might have been the closest human being who could help me out of a jam. Many similar contacts followed over the course of just a few hours. Amazing stuff.

Thanks Guys and Gals--very humbling.

Glad that everything is okay...however I have heard Jerry Busse's voice on the phone at the crack of dawn...VERY SCARY...LOL:)

Heck, I was hoping he was calling to tell me I'd won something cool--or maybe that he needed me to man a booth for him in Vegas. :D All good thoughts here when The Man calls.

'course, I'm not entrusted with making sure the Busse mothership runs smoothly in all weathers like Cap'n Amy-O--now THAT could make for some scary early morning phone calls.

Will,
i also got the scam letter yesterday.. Going through your contacts i guess.
sorry..
David

Just checked back here and saw this. Just checked my email (first in over a week) and I got it too but didn't open it. Nice to see you would have been taken care of if it were real. Liu Kang's response was perfect. :)
