Despite the 17 positive reviews, him being a member since 2017 and a "Gold Member".

I attempted to purchase a GiantMouse GMF1-FS . . . Sent him $100 on March 5th . . . the rest is shown in the conversation attached... which he has now ghosted. And I can no longer access his user profile.

So is the hacker the one I sent $100 to back on March 5th?
Actually, that's a VERY good question! I wonder if the scammer has had access to the account for awhile? The hack was only discovered this weekend:

Who is the known scam artist that Blues referenced?

I was scammed out of $250. $ was sent to:

mtxrqyarth@hotmail.com
Name: Stanley Zimowski

It's showing pattyb009 is online right now.

This is the same individual that in the recent past took some of our members who thought they were getting a good deal on some CPKs.
He had hacked a different account at that time. (That account has been resolved and is now back under control of the original member. I'm not sure how many of the individuals who were victimized were able to get their funds back. I think at least one but am not sure.)

This time that same individual hacked a different member's account. (I am not going to go into any details regarding how or why we, ( Boru13 Boru13 and myself), know it was the same individual. We don't need to tip our mitts.)

Bottom line, if you think someone is offering a CPK or other popular piece for under market value and that you are going to get a good deal by taking advantage of their ignorance, there's a good chance you are going to be the one taken advantage of.

Don't send funds to people you don't know with no recourse to recover them in case it turns out to be a scam, or the goods are never delivered. You are setting yourself up to be taken.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Lol... Hey Blues Blues . . . Can we get this guy vetted?
All I can tell you is that his IP comes back to Tennessee and the email address he provided above is from the U. of Tennessee at Martin.

So, sounds legit. Send an email and engage in a conversation. You should get a feel one way or the other.

Of course, I'd expect an English professor to have written "formerly" rather than "formally" in his post above. So...

(On the other hand, he was a victim himself, and doesn't really owe you anything as he wasn't the perpetrator...assuming he is who he says he is.)

I'm actually a business communication professor lol. Sorry, autocorrect got me. Yes, please email me. I'm trying to get your money returned to you.
