Scammer commented on my sale post

Hey folks hoping to reach a moderator with this.

I have a listing posted and a basic member commented stating that they sent funds and is asking why I havnt responded to their emails. I have had no communication with this person and I don't want it take away from the sale or damage my rep here on bladeforums? Is there a way to remove the comments? How can I prevent this in the future? Is it possible he has my listing mixed up with another one? If so how should I proceed?

My guess is since that member posted their email address in the sales thread a scammer contacted them pretending to be you via email. It seems like that is happening fairly frequently to people who have their email posted for everyone to see.

Sadly it appears I got got. I have screen shots that I actually sent money. And that I wasn't trying to scam. The email was the same name as OP. Sorry to be a bother

im going to delete my comments from his post. and if a mod wants to reach out. i can prove my end of this. But sadly I do believe i got jammed up by someone who made an email of his user name.
