Scandi Arete Pass-around

If you want to send it to me last - I think I may be able to scare up a new sheath for it. ;)

Good on you brother for sending around a knife for others to try.

Hmm, now I wish I still had my Arete and Scandi Ladyfinger, never had a Scandi Arete though that makes for a nice combo.

One more slot to fill. Going to get this cleaned up and headed out this week.

After way too long of a delay on my part (sorry guys!), this has been sent off to Michael. I look forward to your all opinions of the knife!

Nathan,

I have actually acquired a scandi Bushcrafter and scandi Arete since the creation of this thread. If you would like to offer my spot up to someone else who hasn't had a chance to use one of Andy's scandi grinds, please do so.

It looks like the #5 spot is open. If so, please add me to the list. I am in Sugar Land, TX, so it will be easy for me to get the knife up to Tal. I need to make a trip up there anyway. My only caveat is that I will out over Thanksgiving, which seems like it impact the #5 user.

Thanks. Cimarron56

Sounds good Cimarron. Thanks! I'll get you added to the list. I'm sure the timing will work out OK.

Back up to the top as a spot has opened up. Let me know if you'd like to be added to the pass around.

After 8 months, the Arete has made it back home. Thanks to everyone that participated in the pass-around. I hope it gave folks a good idea of the capabilities of a Fiddleback scandi bushcrafting blade.

Great news Nathan! Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to be part of this pass around. It opened my eyes and I now have my own Scandi Fiddleback.

Phil

Nice to see you have her back! I love how the handle material responded to use. It adds a lot to it's character.

Glad the circle is complete. I really appreciated the opportunity you opened up. Like Phil, I too have my own (well...my daughter's) scandi Fiddleback. Your generosity is inspirational. [emoji106][emoji106]

I just wanted to add how cool I think it was of Nathan to do this...

For what its worth it kind of makes me consider it (and I am not really a scandi fan)...

Nice work people! ;)
