This one here is my interpretation of a bird & trout and carving knife combined. It makes for an excellent general-purpose knife for sportsmen and woodsmen alike.
The steel is 1/8 inch O1 high carbon tool steel, heat-treated in an electronically controlled furnace to an RC of 59. The blade is equipped with a hair-shaving and mirror polished scandi grind.
The knife is lightweight and nimble in the hand. The gray-dyed stabilized birds eye maple scales are contoured to a slight coke-bottle shape for a comfortable grip. Yellow liners and brass tubing was used to help accentuate the subtle golden lines within the handle material.
A hand-made leather sheath is included; made of 7-8 oz leather, stitched with waxed artificial sinew. It is dyed java brown, and has a high-sheen water repellent finish. Included is a versatile dangler, with both a removable pin and a snap for the fastener.
Price: $220.00 plus $5.00 shipping
The first who says "I'll take it" either here, through PM, or through my email gets it. I prefer PayPal, but am open to other methods of payment.
