Hey guys, have a scandi carving knife for sale. The customer got injured and unfortunately couldn't go through with the order, so now it's up for grabs.
_____________

The Woodcrafter is my version of an outdoors woodcarving knife. It is a bit influenced by the sami puukko, but of course is full-tang and with a little different handle ergonomics.

The stabilized curly maple handle is designed for maximum comfort when being held in any style; fore-hand grip, chest-lever grip, knee grip, you name it. A great choice for bushcraft. The handle has triple liners (black/blue/black). The natural scales and blue liners give the knife a nice "wintry feel".

The knife is 7-1/2 inches overall, and the blade is just under 3 inches. The steel is 1/8 inch O1 high carbon tool steel, heat-treated in an electronically controlled furnace to an RC of 59. The blade is equipped with a hair-shaving sharp and mirror polished scandi grind.

A hand-made leather sheath is included; made of 7-8 oz leather, stitched with waxed artificial sinew. It is dyed dark mahogany, and has a high-sheen water repellent finish.

Price: $195.00 plus $5.00 shipping
SOLD

The first who says "I'll take it" either here, through PM, or through my email gets it. I prefer money order or PayPal, but am open to other methods of payment if necessary.

Adventure Sworn,

That is truly one of the nicest handles I've ever seen. Not only the materials and the finish but I totally love the shape.

You make some outstanding stuff. Hope I manage to catch one of yours before it's snapped up sometime.
