I finished it this afternoon. 7 1/2" overall, with a 3 1/2" blade of 1/8" O1, with basic oak handles.

VERY nice! The folks in the pass-around are going to have a field day (well, field days, really :P).

I would've gotten in on the pass-around, too, if it weren't for the fact that here in Phoenix, there isn't much I could use it for like I could back in Illinois. Just a little veggie chopping and box slicing. Damn you, Phoenix!

Seriously, though, that is a VERY nice scandi!

Hi Stomper -

She's a beauty!

Is there a logo on the blade or is that just the reflection on the picture?

I showed the pic to my wife and told her we will have to give it a workout when we get it here in Mapleton.

We can't wait!

best regards -

I would like that grind on my upcoming Roach Belly.
Interestingly, the design I drew up already has a Scandi grind.

Just some scuffs in the forged finish.

I made a dangler sheath for it this morning. I`ve been playing with this knife for the last few days. I made some fuzzsticks out of a small piece of oak I had laying around, and they look just like the photos you guys post! (I`m kind of embarrassed to say I`ve never done one before.) I also have been slamming it full force into a block of oak, against the grain, with no edge rolling or chipping, I really like this grind! Carves wood great.
