Scandi vs. Sabre grind for Bushcraft?

Scandi grinds truly excel at woodwork. They work fine for general belt knife work. Sub-par for batoning/hard use and hunting.
Saber/Flat are good all around knives. They're also much harder to sharpen than a scandi
Personal preference is that I avoid convex grinds. Hard to field-sharpen, hard to reprofile. But they are high performance grinds.

Full flat.

What else could any bushcrafter type person heading out into the wild blue yonder want or need?
Thanks 42Blades! I've got one on my bucket list.

From what I understand, there are only 2 known originals still in existence. But fortunately there are lots of various modern remakes. :)

I love scandi for woodcarving work. I would take the saber for just about anything else.

Same for me. Although I have been spending more time with an FFG, and I'm finding it better as a general purpose blade now then I did in the past.

I picked up a sabre ground woodsman pro when bhk was still together and that thing just devours wood.
I'd say just pick whichever looks better to you, LT knows what he's doing.
